In March 2012 the SCV-experts of the partners Sea Teach, Seebär and FNB met in Barcelona for a workshop to further develop and agree the methodology for breaking down syllabi by extracting Fundamental Elements (FEs).
Over two days they discussed specific modules of the three countries qualifications (UK, Germany and Spain) with a view to establish differences and similarities by comparing examinable components using the most recent FE extraction methodology. This allowed to the partners to test the methodology developed so far and from that make observations, agreements and adjustments to the FE extraction method.
